Our walks are normally within the Vale and are between 3 and 6 miles long, meeting at the start of the walk. I circulate details of the walk to the members on my circulation list the Tuesday before.

Details can be obtained from Nigel at the group email shown. If you are interested in participating in the walks please ask to be put on the email circulation list so that you can be notified of the details of the next walk on the Monday or Tuesday before. Those wishing to join the walk will be asked to notify by email their intention to join the walk by 6pm on the Thursday before the walk. Walks are confirmed by email on the Thursday evening, based on the weather forecast (as we cancel walks if heavy rain is forecast), together with the list of people joining the walk to all those on the circulation list. Every January we do a walk around Cardiff Bay followed by lunch at the Custom House.

You require walking boots, quality waterproofs and a sense of humour.
